What is this website
built with?

Paste any URL and see the framework, hosting, CDN, analytics, payments and more, grouped and in plain English. Every detection shows its evidence and how sure we are, and we never report a version number or anything we found wrong with a site you do not own.

This tells you what a site is built with. It is not a security check and says nothing about whether the site is safe: a perfectly ordinary stack can be badly configured, and an unusual one can be airtight. If you own the site and want the other question answered, run a security scan of it.

What it detects

From the response headers, the page markup, the asset paths, the JavaScript it ships and the public DNS records: frameworks and CMSs, the host and CDN in front of it, the build tool, payments, auth, analytics, email and marketing tools, and the libraries in the bundle. Everything is read, never run, so anything decided at runtime after the page loads is out of reach, and we say so.

Questions

How is this different from a security scan?

It runs the same detection engine but skips the intrusive checks. It never guesses at private files, never queries a database, and never reports what it found wrong with a site. It reads only what a browser loading the page already fetches, so pointing it at a site you do not own is safe and ordinary.

Why no version numbers?

Naming a technology is public information. A version number is the part that helps someone choose an exploit, and it is rated a zero-severity disclosure by the standard vulnerability taxonomy precisely because on its own it is only useful for that. We name the technology and stop there.

How accurate is it?

Every detection carries the exact signal that produced it, and its confidence. A response header a platform sets itself is near-conclusive; a string in a bundle is weak, because bundles inline the names of things they do not use, so those are marked “likely”. Hover any result to see the evidence and judge for yourself. We would rather show you a checkable claim than a confident guess.

Can you tell me every site using a given technology?

No, and we will not build it. That is a sales-intelligence dataset built by crawling millions of sites, and it is a different product with a different ethic. This tool answers one honest question about one site you point it at.
